Once upon a time The old aristocratic Alsatian house dated  from the 14th century use to be owned by some famous Winemaker. Renovated in 1617 including the original frontage. It is interesting to note the original polychrome ceilings, where five-petal roses symbolically recall Christ’s five wounds, and bear witness to the piety of the original owners.
